Our HISTORY

DRAF Industries (DRAF) is a domestic, small business manufacturer of vehicular specialty tools and test equipment for military and government applications. In addition, we make air conditioning service tools for both the commercial and government markets.

The company began in 1960 as a manufacturer of automotive electrical service tools. In 1966, automotive air conditioning test equipment and service tools were added. In the early 1970’s we started supplying GSA. Since 1986, DRAF has been an approved supplier of HMMWV tools to TACOM and has expanded its line into other coverage for other logistics vehicles and trailers such as FMTV, HEMTT (A2 and A4 variants), HET (A0 and A1 variants), PLS (A0 and A1 variants), M915/916/917 Line Haul and M1000 trailers. In addition, we offer tools for combat vehicles such as Stryker, Abrams and MRAP (including M-ATV). Today, the company offers over 500 different tools that are manufactured at various sites throughout the United States. We sell only to other tool manufacturers, government and military agencies. Our tools meet the required Buy America and Trade Agreements Laws.

DRAF is financially strong with extensive tool design, manufacturing and engineering capabilities. Much of our assembly, warehousing and order fulfillment is done at the VA Hospital in Sepulveda, California where we employ veterans in a government sponsored work therapy program.
